This week I have been reminded over and over again about how much talent we have in this area! It’s so incredible to see especially the younger generation take a step forward and showing the world what they can do! I love seeing what their talents, and who they are turning out to be! What is even more incredible is this towns ability to support and love these talented persons! Every time I go to a concert or play or an art show I look around and see all the proud people standing around their loved ones! You might be sitting there and saying well I don’t have a talent, but I bet you do, you just don’t know it yet! What I recommend to you people is try everything!! One day you will find it, and it will surprise you more every day! So I compiled a list of some talented people I have encountered over the last few weeks! Please take a look at each persons talent! Maybe something will speak to you!
First off, GVC has a pretty rocking theater group! Last Saturday I had a blast working with them while taking some pretty awesome photos!! They all welcomed me with arms wide open (well not literally, but I felt like part of the group) Next weekend they are putting on a play called FOOLS at the local concert hall! You have to go and see them! I promise you wont be disappointed! Here is a photo of all of them together!

Some of you might not think you have any artistic talents or maybe singing isn’t your strong suit. But being able to make people laugh is probably one of the most awesomest things you can do! At the local highschool here they always do a Zodiac of the month! This month they decided to put together a little video. There is some real talent in this video, there are people recording, editing, and just the video contents itself has done of creativity in it! So take a few moments to watch this video!

A couple of weekends ago I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole and Cornies Wedding! It turned out to be a super nice day outside! Which we were all very thankful for! The bride looked stunning in her dress! I love seeing a Bride on her wedding day! There is this glow and happiness on her face! I also love seeing the groom looking at the bride for the first time. It absolutely takes my breath away!! I really enjoyed spending the day with this couple and their wedding party!
I love, love the idea of getting to know my future clients and for them to get to know me! What better way to do just that than treating this post like a first date! I am sure everyone has been on a first date! They can be awkward, weird and uncomfortable. But then there are others where you are like “WOW! How did I not know this person before hand.” Then fall completely fall in love with the person. Well I want this to be more like the second option! <3

What a tough week we had at my house. If you didn’t know already I have two adorable loving kittens. These two are my babies, I love them to pieces. The older one is Marley and the youngest is Pickles. wierd names right? Well I woke yesterday morning to find that my Marley had been sick all night. All day I worried about her so I went to the vet to get her checked out. Well I found out that my poor kitty had a really bad ear infection. So they put drops in her ears and to make sure that she wouldn’t get even worse they gave her two needles. Lets just say that she is was not impressed with me after that.
While I was gone my husband came home to find that pickels was moping around, she missed her furry friend. When I came home pickles got really upset and started to hiss at her friend. Long story short Pickles is mad at us, and Marley. This morning we had to give them both medication before work, and Pickles is still hissing at Marley, so you can see that we had an interesting morning. I hate having to do this to my cats but I want them to live a long healthy life. Has anything similar ever happened to you with your pets? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Last weekend I had the amazing privilage to shoot Lisa&Ricks wedding! All week Lisa and I were texting each other about the posibility of rain, we hoped it wouldnt. I don’t think a single bride , or photographer ever wants to be put in that situation.
Well when April 21st, 2012 dawned and my awful alarm clock went off I heard rain agansit my window. I had this huge sinking feeling, and could only imagne what Lisa was thinking. When I showed up at Studio 500 for hair pictures Lisa was at total peace. Sure it was raining, but I knew she was just excited that she was marrying her very best friend.
This couple tottaly blew me away that day. They could have been upset by the rain but that didn’t stop them from having a romantic beautiful day together! Just before the first look, Lisa walked into the church I couldn’t help but stare. She was just such a beautiful glowing bride. Rick couldn’t wait to see his bride the look on his face was of pure love and anticipation as he awaited his first glimps of Lisa. At last Rick was allowed to turn around and see Lisa for the first time that day. I started to tear up in that single moment because the look on his face was of a guy who couldnt be more in love with his soon to be wife.
We didn’t end up getting any photos done out side so these were all done inside the church and at the local coffee shop (Jonnys Java)

Wedding season is in full swing for the 2012 year! If anyone knows me just a tiny little bit, they will know that I adore weddings, okay more then adore I love, love weddings! I have since I was 6 years old! I love the dresses, flowers, shoes, decorations, cake, the incredibly awesome bridal party, photos, and I love what marriage is and what it means. To but it short terms I love the love!! Thats why when my Aunt mentioned she had a niece who was looking for a photographer and asked if I might be intrested in being that photographer. I almost passed out from all the exictment, not even kidding (of course I said YES!!. Just the thought that there might be a slight, tiny chance that someone might hire me to photograph their wedding was all about I could take. My excitment started to die down after a couple of weeks from not hearing anything. I of course thought that my chance had slipped away. Well little did I know that God was about to answer my prayer. I received a messege from a sweet young lady who was getting married (not the niece) she was wondering if they could book me for their wedding. Again I got really excited. Just ask my poor husband. Well before I knew it I booked my first wedding, then my second and third, fourth etc..well lets just say that I have been completely overwhelmed with all the support from these wonderful people who were willing to invest in me. They believe in me. I love each and every single one of my brides they are some of the sweetest girls I have ever met! Not to mention beautiful! So thank you to everyone out there that has ever believed in me in the past and in the future. Your support means the world to me! And yes I did book my aunts niece for a beautiful May wedding!!

I can’t get over this little cutie! She was all smiles from the minute I walked in the door! She has the funniest laughs and doesnt ever stop “talking”. Hannah is only nine months but you can tell she is going to be very smart and talkitive little girl! Mommy you better watch out this one is going to be a little heart breaker!!
