I remember all of us agreeing during our first meeting a few months ago that middle of August was a great time to get married because it is not as hot by then, and boy were we wrong! I think this is the hottest wedding I have ever shot! It was so hot my camera started to freeze up (or melt down) and I have never had an issue before. Although we all were super hot the couple and the bridal party were fantastic and never complained about being outside and taking pictures. That’s probably why everyone drank five bottles of water in 2 hours :). After we were done taking the formal photos it started to get cloudy but when we looked up we knew that the outdoor wedding ceremony they had planned was not going to happen so we quickly took some family photos and all the girls ran inside just in time for the rain to start pouring. I don’t think I have ever heard thunder that loud! Thankfully these two people had so many loving family members and friends that in no time we were all set up inside for the ceremony. I really admired everyone’s cool attitude no one was yelling or freaking out. Helen and Richard were just so happy to be finally be getting married! Thanks guys for letting me be part of your incredible day!
